Filing documents (EDINET PDF and XBRL, TDnet PDF)

GET/stable/filing-document10 tokens per callNew

Returns the file of a document filed on EDINET (annual and quarterly securities reports, large shareholding reports and more) from the ZENITH Code archive, by document ID. type=pdf returns the PDF and type=xbrl the XBRL ZIP. EDINET stops showing documents after their inspection period (10 years from filing for annual securities reports, 2 years for extraordinary reports, and so on), but ZENITH Code keeps older documents too, so you can still get them here. The archiveUrl in the provenance of other endpoints points to this endpoint. TDnet documents such as earnings releases are exchange data and are not provided as files. TDnet timely-disclosure documents (18-digit IDs) are also returned as PDF with type=pdf, with no age limit (the official TDnet site keeps them for about a month). TDnet documents are exchange data: for your own use only, not for display or redistribution to third parties.

FAQ

Where do I find the document ID?expand_more

It is in the provenance of financial statements (docId and archiveUrl) and in the docId of responses such as major shareholders, large shareholding reports and directors. EDINET document IDs are 8 characters starting with S.

Can I show the files in my own service?expand_more

On the Business plan or higher you may display and provide EDINET documents to your users. You may not place the files in publicly accessible storage. On every plan, TDnet documents may not be shown to third parties.

Is there a link to the official EDINET page?expand_more

For documents within the inspection period, sourceUrl in the provenance points to the EDINET viewer. For older documents sourceUrl is null, so use archiveUrl instead.

How many tokens does one call use?expand_more

10 tokens per call, regardless of how many rows come back. Your monthly allowance depends on your plan.

Do I need an account to try it?expand_more

Use the API Viewer to run it with your own parameters. Sign up for free and sign in (no credit card). Each run uses this API's tokens.

Can I get CSV instead of JSON?expand_more

Add format=csv to the URL to get CSV, ready for spreadsheets or pandas.

Can I get labels in English?expand_more

With neither lang nor Accept-Language, labels such as sector names are returned in English; add lang=ja or send Accept-Language: ja for Japanese. Company and sector names are always returned in both languages as nameJa / nameEn and sectorJa / sectorEn. Field names are the same in both languages.
