MCP tool

get_dividend_streaks

The MCP tool for Dividend streaks. Each call costs 1 token(s).

Key points

  • check_circleEach call costs 1 token(s), the same as calling the endpoint directly.
  • check_circleRequired arguments: symbol

What this tool returns

Returns the number of consecutive years of dividend increases and of non-decreases (increase or hold). Counts are based on settled annual dividends (split-adjusted, per share) and cross-checked against the progressive dividend years reported in earnings releases, with a flag showing whether they agree. Zero-dividend years stay in the series, so a suspension resets the streak. Targets ordinary stocks; ETFs and REITs follow a calendar-year rule and may disagree. Ratios are 0–1 decimals (0.1 = +10%).

Description sent to AI clients

How many years in a row has a company raised its dividend, and how many years without a cut? Returns consecutive-increase years, consecutive-non-decrease years (increase or hold), the annual dividend per share for each settled fiscal year (split-adjusted; zero-dividend years break the streak) and the batch-reported progressive_dividend_years for cross-checking. 連続増配年数・連続非減配年数(増配または据え置き)と決算期ごとの年間配当(1株当たり)。

The model reads this description to choose the tool. It is written in both English and Japanese.
