FAQ for investors and developers

Can I use it without programming?expand_more

Yes. Paste the code example from any endpoint's documentation into Google Sheets Apps Script or Excel Power Query to load the data into a table.

Is the Free plan enough?expand_more

Free includes 5,000 tokens a month, so a 1-token endpoint can be called 5,000 times. That is often enough to check your holdings; upgrade to Pro if not.

Can friends use a tool I built?expand_more

Free and Pro do not allow making the data available to third parties. Sharing requires Business or higher.

FAQ for AI builders and researchers

Can an AI such as Claude help with my analysis?expand_more

Yes. MCP-compatible AI clients can use the same data through 72 tools. Use by an AI you yourself use is Basic Use.

How do I check how current the data is?expand_more

/stable/system/freshness shows each dataset's as-of time and whether it is stale. It needs no key and uses no tokens.

Can I see where income figures come from?expand_more

The provenance field of income-statement holds the source (TDnet or EDINET) and the document ID.
