Read every line item as a hierarchy

/stable/financial-statement-full returns every filed line item with its hierarchy. Use it when the income statement or balance sheet endpoints do not have the item you need.

Key points

check_circlestatements.statements contains BS, PL, CF, CI, SS and Summary, each with a list of items.
check_circleIndent each item by its depth to read it with the same structure as the filing.
check_circleEach call uses 10 tokens. Without a period you get the latest one, preferring the full year.

How the code works

1Call with symbol and, if needed, fiscalPeriod (YYYY-MM) and quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3 or FY).
2Read statements.statements.PL.items in the first row in order.
3Indent by depth and print label_ja (or label_en) with value.

Things to note

errorHeading rows (for example is_abstract true) have a null value.
errorAmounts are in yen. The structure differs between Japanese GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
errorResponses are large. For a few items, /stable/financial-facts with tag is lighter.

How is this different from the income statement endpoint?expand_more

income-statement returns main items in a flat form; this returns every filed item with its hierarchy.

Can I get past periods?expand_more

Pass a fiscal period such as 2026-03 as fiscalPeriod to get that period's filing.

FAQ for AI builders and researchers

Can I see where each item came from?expand_more

Each item's source shows where its value came from (for example xbrl).

Can I use English item names?expand_more

label_en holds the English label. Some are empty, so fall back to label_ja.
